Updated over a week ago

Softruck processes billions of data points each year to provide you with more comprehensive insights into your fleet, whether it's small, medium, or large.

With the Softruck app, managing your fleet has become even easier! You can oversee and monitor your vehicles right from your phone. Our focus is to make our customers' lives easier by supporting their management, simplifying data storage and control, and guiding them in every decision-making process.

Download

Go to the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and download the Softruck app.

1.Login

Open the app and log in using your username and password:

2. Home Screen

On the app's home screen, you’ll find general information about the most relevant metrics to help you better understand your operation. You can identify behavior patterns in your fleet and potential risk situations.

3. Vehicles

In the Vehicles tab, you can view all the vehicles linked to your user, whether it’s one vehicle or several. The app displays information such as the license plate, brand, model, and IMEI of the associated device.

To access more information, check the details of the vehicle, and view its position on the map, click on the license plate.

5. Maps

On this screen, you can access the most recent location of your vehicle and track its movements in real-time.

  • Lock Button: You can send the lock/unlock command to the vehicle via the app. To lock the vehicle, click on the lock icon, just above the license plate information. Confirm the lock, and that's it! The command will be applied. To unlock, repeat the process by clicking on the lock icon again!

It’s important to note that for the command to be applied, the device must be communicating with the Softruck platform, and the installation must be correct. Access to the lock command is granted to users of the Administrator, Collaborator, and Owner types. Customer and Visitor users do not have this permission.

  • Sharing: By clicking the share button, you can share your vehicle's location via a link generated within the app, allowing access to anyone you wish to share it with—whether they are a user or not on the Softruck platform. After clicking the share button, define how long you want to share your location (1 hour, 12 hours, or 48 hours), and select the reason for sharing (towing, theft, or other). An Activation Protocol is automatically generated when sharing is for the purpose of Theft.

  • Call: Clicking this icon will offer the option to choose which registered number you wish to call. Through the Softruck platform, within Organization -> Companies, you can register a contact number for Central/Assistance and another number for Theft and Robbery (in case of vehicle recovery needs).

  • Vehicle Ignition Indicator: The colored dot next to the license plate indicates the vehicle's status, whether it's on, off, or not reporting.

    • When the vehicle is on, the dot will be green.

    • When the vehicle is off, the dot will be black.

    • When the device has not sent a location point as expected, the dot will be yellow. This indicates that the vehicle has traveled through an area without coverage from the contracted operator.

6. Additional Information

Here, you can identify information related to the device's behavior, such as the battery, voltage, the number of satellites it is connected to, and other details.

You can also find some information about the vehicle's speed, hour meter, and odometer.

7. History

You can access the entire route traveled by the vehicle. Information such as distance, duration, idle time, maximum speed, average speed, stops, and time in risk areas are presented.

When you click the History button, you’ll see the history of the past days with all the information in a more detailed format.

If you need a more detailed history, we recommend checking through the web platform. There, you can find the full history from the day the devices began reporting to the platform.

8.Notifications

You can configure the Softruck app to send notifications to your phone when the vehicle is turned on and when it starts moving.

To enable notifications for ignition and movement in the app, simply subscribe by activating the notification toggle, clicking the icon highlighted in the image:

9. Geofences

Creating Geofences allows the user to mark areas to improve vehicle monitoring. You can choose when you will be notified: when the vehicle enters the marked area, when it exits, or even in both situations.

To create geofences, it is necessary for your user to be responsible for the vehicle in question. In other words, the user must be linked to the vehicle's license plate in the Softruck platform.

You can register as many geofences as you want! Just follow the step-by-step guide above to ensure everything goes smoothly.
