To configure and test a device on the Softruck platform, it must first be correctly registered in the system. If this step has not been completed yet, check out our tutorial: How to register a SIM card and device.
Once the device is registered, it needs to be configured to report data to the Softruck platform.
In this guide, we will learn how to perform this configuration via SMS, which must be sent to the phone number associated with the SIM card embedded in the device.
Before Sending the Configuration Commands:
Install the SIM card in your device.
Connect the equipment to a 12V power source.
Ensure the device is in an open area to facilitate communication.
Configuration Commands
Command to Set IP and Port:
setparam2001:APN;2002:USERNAME;2003:PASSWORD;2004:18.204.79.225;2005:3671;2006:0
Note: The Teltonika command requires two spaces at the beginning of the text, which is essential for successful configuration.

You can now check the device's online status on the Softruck platform. If the device does not communicate, verify the SIM card, registered IMEI, and the configuration details sent.
