You have just purchased the S4G 4G Mini, the latest tracking device developed by Softruck, equipped with advanced 4G CAT 1 technology to ensure maximum accuracy and security for your vehicle. With its enhanced GPS system and GSM/GPRS connectivity, it provides real-time location tracking via satellites and also allows you to access additional data on the vehicle’s status, transmitting everything directly to the platform. To simplify installation and make the most of your new device’s features, we’ve prepared this quick guide with essential technical information!

Recommendations

The device must be installed by a properly trained technical professional equipped with the required safety gear. Before beginning installation, ensure that the vehicle’s electrical system is in perfect working order.

It is of fundamental importance to correctly record the tracker’s identification code and the license plate of the vehicle on which the device was installed for later linking to the online platform.

Initial Procedures

  • The device must be installed in a waterproof and dry location.

  • Insert the SIM card before connecting the power supply and turning it on.

  • Make sure the lights are on and that there are no metal obstructions.

  • Secure it with a clamp or double-sided tape.
