Introduction
You have just received a GPS and GSM/GPRS-based tracking device designed to enhance your vehicle's security. The module provides location information from satellites, additional vehicle data, and transmits this information to the Softruck platform.
To assist you with the installation of your new equipment, we’ve prepared this quick installation guide with some relevant technical details.
Recommendations
The device should be installed by a certified technician equipped with the necessary safety equipment. Before starting the installation, ensure the vehicle's electrical conditions are in perfect working order.
ATTENTION!
It is essential to correctly register the tracker’s identification code and the vehicle’s license plate to link the device to the online platform later.
Initial Procedures
Install the FMC920 in a hidden location, protected from water.
Avoid placing the tracker near signal sources, such as reverse radars, anti-theft devices, and other vehicle monitoring equipment.
The tracker has an integrated GSM and GPRS antenna. Ensure the GPS antenna side faces the sky and is not covered by any metal objects.
