Driver Identification with RFID: Streamline Control and Management on the Softruck Platform

Updated over a week ago

The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system is used to identify a vehicle's driver.

It works as follows: an RFID device emits a signal that is read by a reader. The reader has a circuit that transmits this data to a device and then to the platform.

📡 Identification occurs through radio signals, where the device sends the collected information to the platform.

On the Softruck platform, there is a feature that uses this technology! 😃

Its purpose is to identify the driver operating the vehicle at a given time. This identification is typically done with an RFID card, which is scanned by the reader to collect the information.

Once the information is collected by the device, it is sent to the platform. The data is displayed on the vehicle's History screen. If you'd like to learn how to use this driver identification feature via RFID on the platform, just click here.
