Introduction
You have just received a tracking device based on GPS and GSM/GPRS technology, designed to ensure the safety of your vehicle. The module provides location data from satellites, additional information about your vehicle, and transmits the data to the Softruck platform. To assist you in installing your new equipment, we have prepared this quick installation guide with some relevant technical information.
Recommendations
The installation of the equipment should be carried out by a qualified technician equipped with the necessary safety gear. Before starting the installation, ensure that the vehicle's electrical conditions are in perfect working order.
WARNING!
It is essential to correctly register the identification code of the tracker and the license plate of the vehicle to which the equipment has been installed for later linking on the online platform.
Initial Procedures
Install the EC33 in a hidden location that is protected from water;
Avoid placing the tracker near signal sources, such as reverse radar, anti-theft devices, and other vehicle monitoring equipment;
The tracker has an integrated GSM antenna with a GPRS antenna. Ensure that the GPS antenna side of the EC33 (the side without adhesive) is facing the sky and that there are no metal objects covering the tracker.
