To configure and test a device on the Softruck platform, it must first be properly registered in the tool.
Once the device is properly registered, you must configure it to report to the Softruck platform.
In this manual, we will learn how to perform this configuration via text messages (SMS), which must be sent to the number of the SIM card installed in the respective device.
Before you begin sending the configuration commands:
Insert the SIM card into your device.
Connect the device to a 12V power source.
HAPOLO HP440-G configuration commands:
Command to configure the APN:
APN,APN,USER,PASSWORD#
If the SIM card was purchased from Softruck, the command will look like this after entering the data:
APN,softruck.com,softruck,softruck#
NOTE: Consult your service provider to verify the APN, USERNAME, and PASSWORD data.
IP and Port Configuration Command:
SERVER,0,18.232.201.231,3674,0#
Command to Set the Time Zone:
GMT,W,0,0#
Command to Configure Communication Timeout:
TIMER,60,3600#
That's it! Just check the device's online status in the Softruck tool. If the device isn't communicating, check the SIM card, the registered IMEI, and the settings that were sent.
Additional Commands
SLEEP MODE:
SZCS#SLEEPT=3
Sets the device to enter sleep mode 3 minutes after powering off or remaining idle.
LOCK:
RELAY,1#
UNLOCK:
RELAY,0#
Checking the Tracker’s STATUS:
COMMAND: STATUS#
Checking Settings and Connection:
COMMAND: GPRSSET#
RESET THE TRACKER:
COMMAND: RESET#
This command resets the tracker to force a new connection.
