To test the devices, you need to follow a few steps. Let’s take a look:
📌 When registering the devices, note that they have a 15-digit IMEI, and the identifier may vary depending on the device model. Enter the device model, and the platform will indicate how many digits the identifier will have.
📌 Ensure the device is correctly connected to the main positive, negative, and post-switch wires; this is essential for proper operation.
➡ Power the device using a 12V power source
📌 Check with your SIM card provider to confirm that the line inserted into the device is active at the time of testing and installation.
➡ If your line provider is Softruck, you can contact support to have them perform the necessary procedures.
📌 Send the configuration commands for this device if the line is updating normally. I’ve included the links to the SMS configuration manuals for the devices below:
📌 The final step, if everything is correct, is to check whether the device’s LED is flashing in the correct pattern to indicate that it is connected to the network; if not, you will need to count how many times it is flashing and consult the table in the manual.
➡ If the issue is due to poor signal coverage, for example, we recommend moving the device to a more open area, avoiding shaded areas.
❗ You can find the light pattern information in your equipment’s installation manual!
